Dermal Filler

Russian Lips

Lifted, defined and flattering.

The Russian lip technique uses careful vertical placements to lift the lips and create a flatter, more defined profile. The result is a beautiful heart-shaped pout with height rather than projection.

Is It Right for Me?

Height, not bulk

Russian lips suit you if you'd like more lift and shape, rather than lips that stick out more. The technique focuses on the centre of the lips for a defined, feminine look that still suits your face.

  • Lips that need more height
  • A flat or undefined cupid's bow
  • A heart-shaped, lifted look
  • A flatter, more flattering side profile

Questions

Frequently asked

How is it different from classic lip filler?

Classic lip filler often adds volume and projection, whereas the Russian technique focuses on lifting the lips upwards for height and shape. Read about our Signature Lip Filler.

Is it suitable if I've had lip filler before?

Often, yes. Amna will assess your lips first, as any existing filler can affect the result she can achieve.

When will I see results?

You'll see a difference straight away. Lips are often swollen for the first few days, and your final result settles after around two weeks.

How long does it last?

Results typically last around six to twelve months, depending on your lips and lifestyle.

Can filler be reversed?

Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can usually be dissolved if ever needed, which is one of the reasons it's such a popular choice.

Is it suitable for everyone?

By law, dermal filler can't be given to anyone under 18. It also isn't suitable if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have an infection in the area, or a cold sore on or around the lips, or have an allergy to any of the ingredients. Amna will check your medical history first.
