Questions
Frequently asked
What causes marionette lines?
They form as we lose volume and support in the lower face with age, which lets the corners of the mouth turn down.
Can it be combined with other areas?
Yes. Marionette lines are often treated with nasolabial folds or the chin for a balanced result. A filler package can be good value for this.
When will I see results?
You'll see a difference straight away. Some swelling is normal at first, and your final result settles after around two weeks.
How long does it last?
Results typically last around six to twelve months, as this area moves a lot when we talk and eat.
Does it hurt?
Most people find it very manageable. Numbing cream is applied first, and most fillers contain a local anaesthetic, so the area becomes numb as treatment goes on.
Is it suitable for everyone?
By law, dermal filler can't be given to anyone under 18. It also isn't suitable if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have an infection in the area, or have an allergy to any of the ingredients. Amna will check your medical history first.
