Questions
Frequently asked
What is NAD+?
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a molecule found naturally in every cell, where it plays a part in cellular energy. Our natural levels fall with age, which is why it has become popular in skincare.
Is it the same as an NAD+ drip?
No. An NAD+ drip goes into a vein, whereas the NAD+ Booster is placed directly into the skin with fine micro-injections, focusing on the look and quality of your skin.
Does it hurt?
Most people find it very manageable. The injections are very fine, and numbing cream can be applied beforehand to keep you as comfortable as possible.
How many sessions will I need?
Many people have a short course of around three sessions, spaced a few weeks apart. Amna will plan the right number for your skin at your consultation.
Are there any side effects?
Small bumps at the injection points, mild redness, swelling or tenderness are common and usually settle within a day or two. Bruising is possible. Amna will discuss all risks with you before treatment.
Is it suitable for everyone?
It isn't suitable if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, or have an active skin infection or cold sore in the area. Some medical conditions may need extra care, so Amna will check your medical history at your consultation.
