- Avoid deodorant and antiperspirant for 24 hours.
- Avoid exercise, saunas and hot baths for 24 hours.
- Avoid shaving or waxing the area for 24–48 hours.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing on the day.
- Results develop over one to two weeks.

Should I see my GP first?
If your sweating is new, has come on suddenly, or affects your whole body, please see your GP first, as it can sometimes have another cause that needs checking.
Which areas can be treated?
The underarms are the most common area. If you're interested in another area, Amna can talk you through whether it's suitable at your consultation.
Does it hurt?
Most people find it very quick and comfortable. The needle is very fine, and you'll usually feel just a small pinch with each injection.
When will I see results?
Most people notice a reduction in sweating within one to two weeks.
How long does it last?
Results typically last around six months, though this varies from person to person.
Is it suitable for everyone?
It isn't suitable if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, have a neuromuscular condition, or have an infection in the area. Some medications may also need checking, so Amna will go through your medical history with you first.
