Looking after yourself
- Some swelling or tenderness is normal and usually settles within a few days.
- Avoid touching or massaging the area for 24 hours, unless Amna advises otherwise.
- Avoid makeup on the area for 12 hours.
- Avoid exercise, saunas and alcohol for 24–48 hours.
- Avoid sunbeds and extreme heat or cold for two weeks.
- Avoid wearing glasses that rest on the nose for two weeks, if you can.

Frequently asked
Can it make my nose smaller?
No. Filler adds volume, so it can't reduce the size of the nose. It can, however, smooth bumps and lift the tip so the nose looks more refined.
Is it safe?
The nose is a delicate area and needs an experienced, careful approach. Amna will assess you thoroughly and explain all the risks at your consultation.
When will I see results?
You'll see a difference straight away. Some swelling is normal at first, and your final result settles after around two weeks.
How long does it last?
Results typically last around nine to twelve months, and can last longer for some people.
Can filler be reversed?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can usually be dissolved if ever needed, which is one of the reasons it's such a popular choice.
Is it suitable for everyone?
By law, dermal filler can't be given to anyone under 18. It also isn't suitable if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have an infection in the area, or have had nose surgery, or have an allergy to any of the ingredients. Amna will check your medical history first.
