Questions
Frequently asked
What is Nucleofill Eyes?
Nucleofill Eyes is a polynucleotide treatment made especially for the under-eye area. It supports the skin's natural repair to improve its thickness, texture and overall quality.
Is it the same as tear trough filler?
No. Tear trough filler adds volume to fill hollows, whereas Nucleofill Eyes improves the quality of the skin itself. Amna will recommend the best option for you. Read about tear trough filler.
Does it hurt?
Most people find it very manageable. The injections are very fine, and numbing cream can be applied beforehand to keep you as comfortable as possible.
How many sessions will I need?
Most people have a course of around three sessions, spaced two to four weeks apart. Amna will plan the right course for you.
Are there any side effects?
Small bumps at the injection points, mild redness, swelling or tenderness are common and usually settle within a day or two. Bruising is possible. The under-eye area can bruise more easily. Amna will discuss all risks with you before treatment.
Is it suitable for everyone?
It isn't suitable if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, or have an active skin infection or cold sore in the area, have a fish or seafood allergy. Some medical conditions may need extra care, so Amna will check your medical history at your consultation.
